The purpose of the Beyond Budgeting Round Table is to investigate
budgeting; develop practical approaches to overcome its
limitations; and help member companies move towards a more
value-adding approach to management. This may even extend
to the development of a new managerial model more in tune
with the issues facing companies today.

Coordination during the development
of national and international standards is a vital step to
assure that standards are uniquely applicable to specific
industrial requirements and do not overlap or conflict in
scope or application. Overlapping standards would cause confusion
as to which standard could or should be used under given circumstances,
while conflicting standards would defeat the purpose of standardization.
The intent of this forum is to support the sharing of information
between standards development groups.
